Artists Write to Work

Sometimes it's necessary to stop laughing about bollocks and write meaningfully about your art work and yourself. Exhibitions, websites and social media are all better for biographies and resumes of work, as well as statements. We've long seen the need for a good book on the subject, but then our talent is writing bollocks, not the proper stuff.

So we're pleased to announce that there is a new specialist book on the subject of writing about your art - Artists Write To Work by Kate Kramer. Kate is a lecturer in critical writing at the University of Pennsylvania and experienced in professional and business development for artists. Our recommendation is entirely uninfluenced by the fact the Artbollocks Generator is referenced on pages 69-70, nor by the fact we knew Kate must be a proper writer when she asked our permission first.

This is a practical workbook rather than an academic tome, and includes worksheets that have printable versions available online. For the times that bollocks just won't cut it, this will point you in the right direction.
